Material information:
  • MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood-based product made using resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Also, it does not absorb moisture at all.
  • Chipboard: Chipboard is a composite wood material made from small wood pieces, usually pine or fir, glued together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in furniture making, interior surfaces, and structural applications. It is made from recycled materials and is resistant to warping, abrasion, and other physical stresses.
  • Melamine (LPB): Melamine LPB (Low Pressure Melamine) is a synthetic material widely used for surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surface manufacturing, due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates like MDF or OSB plywood to produce durable surfaces.
  • Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture making, offering several advantages over other materials. It is highly resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
  • Mesh Fabric: Mesh fabric is a special fabric characterized by its open texture and the weaving of threads, creating small or large holes between the threads. It is used in furniture, such as office chairs and sofas, due to the comfort and ventilation it offers.
  • PP: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in many sectors due to its excellent properties. Although lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring durability against knocks and abrasion. It retains its properties even under the influence of moisture, making it suitable for applications in high-humidity environments.
Maintenance instructions:
  • MDF: Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they can damage the MDF.
  • Chipboard: For cleaning chipboard, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
  • Melamine (LPB): To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from water.
  • Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is recommended.
  • Mesh Fabric: Remove dust and debris from the fabric with a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Make a solution with warm water and mild soap. Dip a soft cloth in the solution, wring it well, and gently wipe over the fabric. Avoid scrubbing, as it can damage the fabric.
  • PP: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge, slightly dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Apply the cloth to the surface and clean with light pressure.
