Material Information:
  • Chipboard: Chipboard is a composite wood material made from small wood pieces, usually pine or fir, bonded together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in furniture construction, interior surfaces, and structural applications. Made from recycled materials, it is resistant to warping, abrasion, and other physical stresses.
  • Melamine (LPB): Low Pressure Melamine (LPB) is a synthetic material widely used for surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surfaces due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates like MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) or OSB plywood to produce durable surfaces.
  • PP - Polypropylene: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in many industries due to its exceptional properties. Despite being lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring durability against impacts and abrasion. It retains its properties even under moisture exposure, making it suitable for use in high humidity environments.
Maintenance Instructions:
  • Chipboard: To clean chipboard, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
  • Melamine (LPB): To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from water.
  • PP (Polypropylene): For everyday cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge lightly dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Gently wipe the surface to clean.
